A newly recruited police constable, who secretly videotaped a female constable when she was in a washroom of the Police station, was arrested by the Police on Wednesday.
The police constable is attached to the Kahathuduwa Police Station. He had used his mobile phone to capture the woman who was inside the washroom.
The Police said that the female police officer, who suddenly saw that she was being videotaped had screamed, and other female police officers who came there had caught the suspect.When his mobile phone was checked, three videos of the female police officer had been found.
He was arrested on the charge of sexual harassment, and he has been interdicted.
