Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office Yoshitha Rajapaksa has instructed his lawyers to initiate legal action against JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake for defaming him by making false allegations at a press conference held at the Foundation Institute on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister’s Office in a release said that JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake has misrepresented Yoshitha Rajajapaksa by presenting certain deed numbers and names of lands as belonging to him.
“The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister has informed his lawyers to take legal actions against Anura Kumara Dissanayake for defaming him.
