‘Helmet Man of India’ hands over helmet to bike rider on Agra-Lucknow Expressway: Watch

New Delhi: Helmet man of India, Raghvendra Kumar’s recent video, in which he is seen giving a helmet to a biker who was driving 100 km per hour speed on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway without a helmet, is going viral on the Internet.

The video was shared by the Twitter handle ‘Helmet Man of India,” which shows Mr Kumar giving a brand new helmet to a young man who was on a bike with a speed of 100km per hour. Mr Kumar stopped his car and handed him the helmet, saying that he had been following him for quite a distance as he was riding without a helmet, and asked him if he had read the message written on the rear windscreen of the car.

The caption of the video reads, “I don’t exceed the speed limit of my car above 100 but on Lucknow expressway when a man overtook me, I was left surprised as his speed was more than us and he wasn’t wearing a helmet. To catch him and give him a helmet, I had to go beyond the speed of 100 and in the end, we managed to catch him.”

In addition he saiys, “Yamraaj ne bheja nahi bachaane ke liye, upar jagah nahi hain jaane ke liye.”

In his conversation with the man, Mr. Kumar advised that a helmet is important to wear while riding, especially if you are on motorways. The man replying to him first introduces himself as Nikhil Tiwari from Etawah and says, while thanking him, “Our safety is in our hands only.”

After the video went viral, Mumbai Traffic Police also reacted and said, “This is called a heartfelt expression of concern.”

It all started when he lost a friend in a car accident. “I lost my friend and roommate in a car accident four years ago. The harsh reality is that he could have been saved if he had been wearing a helmet.”
