Railway Department stated that several trains have been cancelled due to the engine drivers’ trade union strikes today morning (13 February).
Sri Lanka Railways Engine Drivers’ Union has called off the train strike after holding discussions with the relevant authoities regarding their demands.
Several passengers were severely inconvenienced due to the sudden cancellation of the scheduled trains, including office trains today morning.
