Alawwa Police arrested a person who is said to have threatened the doctors who were engaged in treatment in the outpatient department of the Alawwa district hospital on Tuesday night.
Alawwa Police said that a 32-year-old resident of Thumbulla Nawala Watte was arrested. Alawwa Police said that when the suspect’s three-year-old child was sick and taken to the hospital, he shouted and cursed the doctors in the hospital saying that the doctors delayed treatment.
Police officer further stated that although the suspect was arrested on a complaint made by the doctors, he was later warned and released.
