Elections Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake said that the Secretaries of 86 recognized political parties have been invited to participate in a discussion to be held on Wednesday (11) at 10am at the Election Secretariat in Rajagiriya. Ratnayake said this was to discuss matters related to the upcoming local government elections. The submission of nominations for the Local Government election is slated to begin on January18, he added.
