Did You Know? Kareena Kapoor wanted to date Rahul Gandhi once

New Delhi: We all know how handsome Rahul Gandhi looked back in 2001. Many women had a crush on him back then. Well, our own diva Kareena Kapoor also once revealed her wish to date Rahul Gandhi in Simi Garewal’s show Rendezvous.

A video clip of the same conversation has been doing rounds on the internet. Back then, when Simi asked Kareena who would she go on a date with? She replied ‘Rahul Gandhi’.

Kareena Kapoor was heard saying, “Shall I say this I don’t know if I should? Because I don’t mind getting to know him, it’s controversial. Rahul Gandhi.”

The actress further added, “I’d like to know him, I have been flipping through his pictures in a magazine and wondering what would it be like to have a conversation with him. I come from a family with a lineage of films and he comes from a family with lineage of politics. So, maybe we’d make an interesting conversation.”

Currently, Kareena Kapoor Khan is married to Saif Ali Khan with two children Taimur and Jeh. Recently, Bebo was seen vacationing in London along with sister Karisma and other cousins. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor starred in Advait Chandan’s adaptation of Forrest Gump, titled Laal Singh Chaddha wherein she played the lead role alongside actor Aamir Khan. Later, Kapoor will also be seen next in filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh’s film and another film directed by Rajesh Krishnan. We hope to see Bebo soon on the screens.
