United States (US) Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Asia, Robert Kaproth arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday to meet a wide range of Government and economic leaders.
US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chung said on Twitter that Kaproth plans to engage in discussions regarding the way forward on economic recovery for Sri Lanka.
This is his second visit to Sri Lanka this year. Kaproth was among a high-level US delegation who visited Sri Lanka from June 26 to 29.
The delegation met with political representatives, economists, and international organizations and explored the most effective ways for the US to support Sri Lankans.
