1949: Indian Politician Ahmed Patel was born

Ahmedbhai Patel was an Indian politician and Member of Parliament from the Indian National Congress.He was the political secretary to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Patel has represented Gujarat for eight terms in the Parliament of India; three times in the lower house or Lok Sabha (1977–1989) and five times in the upper House or Rajya Sabha (1993–2020). He was also the treasurer of the All India Congress Committee (2018–2020).

1979: Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu was born

Pema Khandu is an Indian politician and the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. He is son of former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Dorjee Khandu. Since assuming office of chief minister in July 2016, he and his government have twice changed their party affiliation; in September from the Indian National Congress to the Peoples Party of Arunachal, and then in December 2016 to the Bharatiya Janata Party.Previously he had served as Minister of Tourism, Urban Development and Water Resources in Nabam Tuki’s government.

1987: Actress Sana Khan Birthday

Sana Khan is an Indian former actress, model and dancer. She predominantly worked in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu language films. Khan began her career in modeling and went on to appear in advertisements, feature films, and television shows. She has acted in 14 films across 5 languages and has appeared in over 50 ad films. She was a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 6 in 2012 and became a finalist.

2006: Ustad Bismillah Khan death anniversary

Bismillah Khan often referred to by the title Ustad, was an Indian musician credited with popularizing the shehnai, a reeded woodwind instrument. While the shehnai had long held importance as a folk instrument played primarily schooled in traditional ceremonies, Khan is credited with elevating its status and bringing it to the concert stage.
