COLOMBO (News 1st); UNP member Wajira Abeywardena has been named as a Member of Parliament to fill the vacancy that resulted after Ranil Wickremesinghe was elected President. A gazette notification has been issued in this regard by the Election Commission after Abeywardena was nominated by the United National Party.
