School opening put off for July 25

The opening of Schools has been further delayed until July 25 due to the crisis situation which has arisen in the country due to fuel shortage and subsequent transportation difficulties.

Schools were supposed to start on Thursday, according to an earlier announcement by Education authorities.

A series of instructions have been sent to Provincial Education Secretaries, Provincial Education Directors, Zonal Education Directors, Divisional Representative/Assistant Education Directors and all principals to start and run schools and accordingly it has been decided to carry out academic activities in all schools from July 25.
