Akshay Kumar always has his hands full of projects. The actor, who was last seen in Prithviraj, is now gearing for his next release – Raksha Bandhan. The film, which is a family drama, also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. Earlier, Akshay had announced the release date of the film – 11th August. On Monday, the actor shared new posters from the film and also announced the release date of the trailer. Rakshabandhan trailer will be out tomorrow, the actor shared.
In the new poster shared by the actor, Akshay is seen hugging his four sisters affectionately. Going by the first look posters of the film, it appears that it is going to be an emotional roller-coaster ride. Sharing the poster, the Bachchhan Paandey actor wrote, “It’s a story of love, joy, family and the unbreakable bond that binds them… come be a part of this grand celebration of life. #RakshaBandhanTrailer out tomorrow”.

Raksha Bandhan is an Anand L Rai film. This is the filmmaker’s second collaboration with Akshay Kumar. Earlier, the director-actor duo worked together in the 2021 film Atrangi Re, which also starred Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. Akshay will also be sharing the screen with Bhumi for the second time. The duo previously collaborated for their 2017 film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Raksha Bandhan is slated to hit the screens on August 11 and will be witnessing a box office clash with Aamir Khan and Kareen Kapoor Khan’s much anticipated movie Laal Singh Chaddha.
