Maruti Baleno CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG:
The CNG models of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Glanza, two popular cars in the premium hatchback segment, are also going to be launched soon. While the Baleno is sold through Nexa dealerships, the Glanza is manufactured in partnership with Suzuki and Toyota.
Equipped with great looks and a lot of advanced features, both of these cars are currently with petrol engine, but soon their CNG models will also come, which will be better mileage. Let us now tell you in detail.
Mileage
The biggest reason for selling CNG cars in India is that they are better than petrol powered cars in terms of mileage. According to the Toyota India website, the new Glanza CNG can be offered with a mileage of up to 25kmpl. At the same time, the mileage of CNG variants of Maruti Baleno can also be between 25kmpl to 30kmpl.
However, in the coming time, the exact mileage details of the CNG models of both these cars will be known. Currently, both these premium hatchbacks are powered by a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine, which is mated to manual and automatic transmission options. The mileage of petrol variants of these cars is up to 22 kmpl. The CNG model of both these cars can cost more than Rs 7 lakh.

Price of petrol variants
Maruti Baleno, the premium hatchback car from Maruti Suzuki in India, has been introduced in a total of 7 variants across 4 trim levels namely Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha, with prices ranging from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
At the same time, Toyota Glanza has been introduced in 7 variants of 4 trim levels like E, S, G and V and their prices range from Rs 6.53 lakh to Rs 9.91 lakh (ex-showroom).
