After the remarks on Prophet Mohammed, suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma’s difficulties continue to increase. Mumbai Police has now issued a second notice against Nupur Sharma.
Nupur Sharma will have to appear before the police on June 25. Nupur Sharma has been summoned by the Mumbra, Thane and Payodhani police stations in Mumbai to record her statement.
The Mumbai Police wants to record her statement in the case and she has been asked to appear before the investigating officer on June 25 at 11 am. Earlier, the police had sought a video of the debate from the concerned news channel.
The BJP had suspended Nupur Sharma, while another leader Naveen Jindal was expelled from the party for tweeting similar comments.
Protests erupted in different parts of the country on Friday after remarks were made about Prophet Mohammad. In many states the situation is still not normal.
