Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is now eyeing Gujarat as the Aam Aadmi Party gear up for the Assembly elections to be held in the state. On Monday, CM Arvind Kejriwal visited Gujarat. He took out the tricolor yatra in Mehsana, Gujarat. During this, Kejriwal targeted the BJP.
CM Kejriwal said, ‘Our party members have lived in different constituencies of the state. He interacted with thousands of people. Gujarat wants change. Apart from this, while talking on the issue of Kashmir, he said that the way Kashmiri Pandits are being massacred is not right. Kashmiri Pandits have migrated twice in the last 30 years and this work has been done only during the rule of BJP.
He said that he appeals to the government to take whatever necessary steps are to be taken and security should be provided to Kashmiri Pandits. He said that the people of Gujarat are scared and want change. Wherever you go people say that BJP people do hooliganism. If you say anything against BJP, you start killing. There is only one medicine for this, Aam Aadmi Party.
Saying that “the tricolor is our pride and flag”, Kejriwal had earlier urged people to attend the event. Earlier, on April 2, Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann did a roadshow in Ahmedabad. Earlier, the Chief Minister of Delhi had visited Gujarat on May 11 and May 1, during which he addressed a rally in Bharuch and Rajkot. The party had made its debut in Gujarat in the 2017 assembly elections, but could not open its account.
