Rahul Gandhi will meet the family of Punjab’s singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala on Tuesday. Sidhu, 28, was shot dead more than a week ago.
Moose Wala was a Congress candidate in the state elections from Mansa in Punjab. However, he lost to the AAP candidate. He had joined the party in December, a few months before the assembly elections.
However, the young singer’s stint with the party was short-lived. His murder shook the state and left his fans in India and Canada in mourning.
In his three year long music career, Moose Wala has managed to make chartbusters.
Raids in Haryana
Police is continuously taking action to arrest the killers of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. In this case, Punjab Police again raided Haryana and arrested one more person. Another suspect involved in the murder, Devendra alias Kala has been arrested by the police from Fatehabad. The police arrested Kala on the basis of inputs received from the interrogation of two suspects.
