Mahindra’s Gen3 race car has successfully completed its first test earlier this week and will make a famous climb with driver Nick Heidfeld driving.
Mahindra Racing has announced that the team will unveil its Gen3 Formula E car at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed scheduled for June 23-26, 2022 in the UK. The M9Electro is following tradition as the Gen2 Formula E Mahindra car also debuted in Goodwood in 2017, breaking a record in this process. Mahindra’s Gen3 race car has successfully completed its first test earlier this week and will make a famous climb with driver Nick Heidfeld driving. The Gen3 car is the fastest and most powerful Formula E racing car to date with major steps in charging and performance times.
Commenting on Gen3’s first car, Oliver Rowland – the driver of Mahindra Racing, said, “It was great to be one of the first to drive a new Gen3 Formula E car. coming. “

Mahindra says the new M9Electro is the fastest, lightest and most powerful electric race car ever built. It is 60 kg lighter than its predecessor and has more than 100 kW of power. A single-seat electric car can reach a top speed of 322 km / h but is extremely efficient, capable of generating up to 40 percent of its power using a renewable brake. The Gen3 cars have front and rear powertrains, the first of any formula cars, and it is also the first formula car that can install hydraulic rear brakes.
