BTS, the South Korean boyband, on Friday, revealed the arduous but fulfilling journey they embarked on in 2020 with smash hits like ‘Dynamite’, ‘ON’. They also talked about the down lows they hit the same year with cancellation of multiple concerts and their world tour. The septet stated that they had planned an amazing tour after the release of ‘ON’ and how one of the tour stops was going to be India, Mumbai to be specific.
“After ON, our goal was to go on a tour for a year traveling several countries; in other continents like Australia,” RM revealed. This is when Jungkook added that due to the pandemic, they couldn’t go on a tour. “We were planning on going to Barcelona, South America, and India,” the boys said. Yes, India was there on the list as well with Mumbai being their planned stop.
BTS had announced their Map of The SOul: 7 world tour in 2020; they had named just a few stops and dates at the beginning and were expected to reveal more slots later on. The tour was to kick off in April that year but due to the Covid induced lockdown, it was ultimately canceled.
After holding virtual concerts during the pandemic, BTS got back to stage with their Permission To Dance on Stage tour. They did concerts in Los Angeles, Seoul, and Las Vegas, all announced one after the other stage.
Meanwhile, BTS bringing India in conversation has excited Desimys who are taking to now anticipating the band may hold a concert in the country soon. Earlier, rumours were rife that BTS is scheduled to have a concert in Ahmedabad later this year. However, turned out, it was just a hoax.
As of now, BTS fans across the globe are waiting for Band’s comeback album, Proof. BTS’ new album ‘Proof’ will be released on June 10th
