Britney Spears' secret wedding to Sam Asghari gatecrashed by ex-husband Jason Alexander;

New Delhi:

Britney Spears has married fiance Sam Asghari, seven months after being freed from a conservatorship. According to Hollywood media reports, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in California on Thursday. The couple’s wedding preps were disrupted when Jason Alexander, who was briefly married to the pop star in 2004, was arrested after allegedly gatecrashing. Jason also shared a video on Instagram Live before the ceremony apparently from inside her home before being tackled.

“Where’s Britney?” he can be heard saying. Later as he walks into a pink tent festooned with flowers, he identifies himself and says: “So here’s the inside scoop, guys, on the bulls**t wedding.”

“He was able to find his way onto the property and was confronted by security,” a police spokesman said. “An altercation occurred with the security officers and that’s where the battery occurred… and during the altercation an item was broken, so that’s where the vandalism comes into play. And by being on private property, the trespass comes into play.”

Alexander was married to Spears, his childhood friend, for less than five days in 2004 before it was annulled.

Talking about Britney and Sam, the couple said last month that the surprise pregnancy they had announced only weeks before had ended in a miscarriage. The couple met in 2016 when they co-starred in a music video for her single “Slumber Party.” After announcing their engagement late last year, Spears often refers to 28-year-old partner as her “husband.” The couple got engaged last September, two months before the end of the conservatorship.
