Kia Seltos facelift spied in India, check features

New Delhi:

By the end of 2021, Kia had begun exploring Seltos looking up at its homeland. Now, a spy video posted online shows two test kits, meaning the car maker has already started its tests in India.

The video shows two test kits of an SUV covered with a heavy camo. While the first model has alloy wheels (suggesting that it was a high specced trim), the second was probably the difference between the spec as noted for the metal wheels with the cover. The short clip also gives a brief overview of the LED taillight reset in the SUV. Other expected changes include new headlights and LED DRL, updated grille and front and rear bumpers.

Although the video has not yet taken the interior of the updated SUV, Kia is expected to provide it with new upholstery and digital driver’s display. Additional equipment should include a panoramic sunroof and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Features such as ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, and upside display will likely be maintained. At Kia they can also offer six airbags as usual, and it continues with electronic stability control and hill-hold assist.

The polished Seltos will go on sale sometime this year and is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. It will revive its rivalry with champions such as Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, and Volkswagen Taigun.
