It’s been 17 years since legendary actor-filmmaker Sunil Dutt passed away. Today, on Sunil Dutt’s 17th death anniversary, Sanjay Dutt shared an old picture with his father. In a social media post, Sanjay Dutt said his father was also his mentor and friend.
“Through thick and thin, you were always there to guide and protect me. You were my strength, inspiration and support in every need… the best a son could ask for. You will always be in my heart Dad, I miss you!” he wrote on Instagram on father Sunil Dutt’s death anniversary.
Earlier, on Sunit Dutt’s 92nd birth anniversary, Sanjay penned down an emotional note with a childhood picture featuring him with the veteran superstar. Sanjay took to his official Instagram handle and wrote ‘Always holding my hand through thick and thin. Love you Dad, Happy Birthday!’ The picture shows a doting Sunil Dutt holding his son’s hand and lovingly looking at him. Sanjay Dutt’s Instagram is filled with such lovely throwback pictures with both father Sunil Dutt and mother Nargis. The actor shares these photos, remembering their special days, birth and wedding anniversaries.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanjay will soon be seen in a film with Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Nora Fatehi. Sanjay Dutt also has Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj and Shamshera with Ranbir Kapoor lined up.
