Toyota will also supply this SUV to Maruti Suzuki, which will be re-badged for the Indian market. The new SUV will be produced at Toyota’s Bidadi based plant. The new Toyota D22 SUV is expected to come with two petrol engines, one with a mild hybrid system and the other with a stronger hybrid system. The regular model is expected to get Suzuki’s 1.5L Dualjet K15C petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid system. The robust hybrid unit will come with a bigger battery pack and electric motor.

Next Generation Maruti Brezza

Maruti Suzuki is going to introduce its best selling compact SUV Brezza in a new avatar this year. The new Brezza is likely to arrive by June 2022. The new model will come with bold design changes and all-new interiors. Talking about the features, the compact SUV can get a lot of good things including a factory-fitted electric sunroof, 360-degree camera, wireless Android Auto and a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, cruise control and more. It will be based on the 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine that will generate 103 bhp power and 137 newton meter of torque. It will be mated to 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options.

Hyundai Venue Facelift

Hyundai Motors is now working on the new 2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift, which may enter the country by June 2022. It will get a new parametric front grille, new LED DRLs and a new bumper.
