With Mumbai Indians defeating Delhi Capitals on Saturday in the penultimate league fixture of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022, the four qualifying teams for the play-off round have been decided.
Royal Challengers Bangalore took the fourth spot, and DC got eliminated after coming too close to the next stage.
Gujarat Titans, a new franchise, showed great momentum throughout the league matches and stood on the top position with 20 points, the highest of all.
Rajasthan Royals took the second spot after winning 9 games out 14 and maintaining a higher NRR (+.298) than third-placed Lucknow Super Giants (+.251).
