Mercedes launches Benz C-Class at THIS price

Mercedes-Benz has finally launched the new C-Class in India. The new C-Class will be introduce in three variants starting with the C 200 which is priced at Rs 55 lakh, then the C 220d which is priced at Rs 56 lakh (ex-showroom). The range topper then will be the C 300d which costs Rs 61 lakh (ex-showroom).

The C 220d arrives with a 200bhp, 440Nm diesel engine whereas, the top-spec C 300d comes with the same engine, but is tuned to offer 265bhp and 440Nm of torque. The entry-level C 200 petrol comes with a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that contains 204bhp and 300Nm. All three engines are combined to a 9-speed automatic gearbox as standard, which has a 48V mild-hybrid tech with an integrated started generator system.

The C 200 and C 220d variants of the new C-Class is considered to be available in Avantgarde line, while the C 300d will be available in a more sporty AMG-line.
