How to study electrical engineering?
Candidates need to pass Class 12 board examination or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. You need at least 75 per cent marks for admission in IIT, NIT and GFTI.
For admission to NITs, CFTIs and other engineering institutes you need to clear JEE Mains conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
Candidates will have to clear JEE Advanced to get admission in IIT and IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, you need to appear among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (in all categories) in the BE/BTech paper of JEE Mains.
You can get an electrical engineering degree by clearing the joint entrance exam of any state. For Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, you need to clear GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
