A set of essential Medical Equipment was handed over to the Teaching Hospital in Jaffna under the 11th phase of “Guwan Mithudam” Project of Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit on 27 September 2021 with the guidance of the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Charmini Pathirana which includes an Oxygen Cylinder, Blood Pressure Apparatus, Pulse Oximeters, Infrared Thermometers, Non-Rebreather Masks and Venturi Masks for the COVID-19 Treatment Uni.
The event was successfully completed under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly, Group Captain HWR Chandima.
The Director of the Teaching Hospital in Jaffna Dr. T. Sathiyamoorthy participated for the occasion and he conveyed his sincere gratitude on behalf of the Hospital Staff by mentioning the importance of receiving such equipment during the prevailing pandemic situation.
The event was held with limited number of participants due to COVID-19 restrictions.
