Indian envoy facilitates Southern schoolchildren

Consulate General of India, Hambantota Dipin P.R visited Madawelana Maha Vidyalaya and Beralihela Maha Vidyalaya and had a discussion with principals of both schools and interacted with the schoolchildren. He presented reading materials and other reference books to the children.

Madawalana Maha Vidyalaya Principal Nalan Jyasekara and Beralihela Maha Vidyalaya Deputy Principal Priyantha Alahakoon received the stationery and books from the the Consul General of India, Hambantota. The Principals, teachers and students deeply appreciated the contribution of Consulate General of India, Hambantota to their schools.

The Consulate General of India has been interacting with schools in the Southern Province since the beginning of the Consulate by presenting musical instruments, scholarships, cultural and yoga programmes and workshops.
