The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says water supply to several areas in Colombo will be suspended for 18-hours from 9am tomorrow (Dec. 19) till 3am on Sunday (Dec. 20).
The water supply will be suspended to Colombo 1,2, 10 and 12.
Water supply for Colombo 03, 04, 07, 08 and 09 areas will be under low pressure during this period.
The interruption to the water supply is due to restoration of a main transmission pipeline, the NWSDB said further.
The NWS&DB requests the public to call hotline 1939 for any information.
