The report including recommendations regarding the UNP’s future political journey formulated under the supervision of UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene is due to be handed over to the Party Leader and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe next week.
Former Minister Sagala Ratnayaka, UNP General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, former Minister and Ambassador Karunasena Kodithuwakku and CEO of the United National Party Shamal Senarath were engaged in drafting the report.
Views and proposals of UNP National Organizer Naveen Dissanayake, former Ministers Vajira Abeywardena and Arjuna Ranatunge and former MPs Sandith Samarasinghe and Prof. Ashu Marasinghe were also obtained for the formulation of the report on the instructions of Party Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
