UDA launches middle-class housing project with 30 year loan facilities

The Urban Development Authority (UDA) has commenced a program to construct middle class housing complexes with an aim to enable youths to purchase their dream houses.

Approximately 5000 houses will be built for middle- class families under this Government development project.

The public will be able to purchase the houses under loans with an interest rate of 6.25%, for the first time, for a period of 30 years.

A minimum payment will have to be made to reserve the desired house.

The houses will be constructed in the Colombo, Kandy, Anuradhapura, Peliyagoda, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, and Malabe areas.

Further information with regard to the UDA project can be obtained via the hotlines 0112-875907, 0777-269740 and 0715-335357. (NewsWire)
