Raigam Tele’es Secretariat stated that due to the prevailing situation of the Coronavirus pandemic and the measures taken by the Government to control the situation, the Raigam Tele’es - 2019 Award Festival which was supposed to take place on March 21 at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Colombo, has been postponed.
The event will be held immediately after the country begins functioning normally at the same location. The invitations already dispatched will be valid for the re-scheduled date.
The polls to select the most popular teledrama actor, actress and the teledrama of Raigam Tele’es 2019 have also been temporary suspended. The date to re-commence the poll will be announced later.
Winners will be selected from the number of votes received. This will include the votes received up to now.
