Renowned film critic Jeewantha Dayananda will be launching his book ‘Vam Ivure Thunvenna – Dharmasiri Cinemavalokanaya’, a volume about veteran filmmaker Dharmasiri Bandaranayake’s films, directing and documentary making. The event will take place at the Mahaweli Center auditorium on September 15 at 3 pm.
Seasoned actors Sanath Gunatileke, Swarna Mallawarachchi, University of Visual and Performing Arts, Graduate Studies Faculty Dean, Professor Saumya Liyanage, and cinema critic Chinthana Dharmadasa will speak at the event. Yashoda Wimaladharma will chair the event. The book is a Nabo Publication.
