The Bus Priority Lane (BPL) rule will be enforced by Police from today to ease the traffic congestion in the Colombo City and suburbs.
Traffic and Road Safety Director SSP Indika Hapugoda said this bus priority rule will be in force on four roads again under the theme Resume Road Discipline.
“The BPL rule will be in effect along four selected roads in the Western Province leading to Colombo, from 6 am to 10.00 am starting today and Police will conduct an awareness program in this regard,” SSP Hapugoda said.
