The Ingiriya Police yesterday arrested two individuals on charges of sexually abusing a 16 -year- old mentally challenged boy.
Investigations have revealed that the teenager had been lured to get into a van on the promise of being provided lunch and had been taken to one of the suspect’s houses on Monday(17).
Thereafter, the boy had been repeatedly sexually abused by the two suspects aged 63 and 54.
The two married men are said to be separated from their spouses, and residing in Maha- Ingiriya and Oorugama.

The abused teenager has been admitted to the Horana Hospital for a medical examination.
The suspects have been produced before the Horana Magistrate’s Court. (Newswire)
