Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 660 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 256 vehicles.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 am 19th May the police have arrested 60,425 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 16,924 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, cases have been filed against 17,193 curfew violators so far, the police said
