Namal Kumara, Director of Anti-Corruption Force who was arrested by the CID in Kurunegala eight months ago over alleged ties to the Easter Sunday bomb attacks in April 2019 was produced before Hettipola Magistrate F.S. Mahafi on February 20.
Since the advice of the AG is still to be received by the CID, the suspect was ordered to be kept in remand custody till March 3.
