Kurunegala Magistrate Namal Perera fined 28 Kurunegela traders Rs.140,000 over the selling of outdated food to schoolchildren, last week.
The traders were arrested from the Mallawapitiya, Maspotha, Galgamuwa divisional secretariat divisions, in raids conducted by the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA).
