Son of NTJ chief leader arrested

A 16- years-old individual, son of a chief leader of the National Thawheed Jamaath Organization Naufar Maulavi , was arrested by the Ampara Police officials today.
 
The arrested individual had received firearm training in Nuwara Eliya. The arrest was made by the Ampara Police officials following a tip-off received by the State Intelligence Unit in Ampara.
 
The suspect was identified as Mohommed Nawufar Abdulla resident in Kakunagolla, Kurunegala. His father, a prominent NTJ leader is also currently in the custody of the Criminal Investigations Department.

Ampara Police had arrested more than 13 suspects who were in connection with the Jamaathe Millathe Ibrahim Organization.
