Several railway trade unions today announced that they will commence a 48-hour token strike from midnight tomorrow.
The strike will be launched due to the lack of a proper response from authorities with regard to rectifying their salary anomalies.
Railway trade unions representing engine drivers, controllers, guards and stationmasters will be involved in the strike.
