The Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development will launch a pilot project through the National Livestock Development Board this year as a pilot project to distribute liquid milk to the urban areas of the Colombo District. Harrison, speaking at a board meeting of the National Livestock Development Board said today.
The Minister further said that he hopes to reduce the use of milkpowder in the country to uplift the local dairy farmer and to provide the people with fresh milk through these bowsers.
