A 16-year-old youth succumbed to injuries when his motorbicycle crashed head on with a van coming in the opposite direction in Idangoda road in Eheliyagoda.
The youth Ehala Waththalage Ishara (16) was a resident of Udayogama area in Panawala.
The van driver was taken into Police custody to be produced before the magistrate's courts.
