Rohitha Abeygunawardena’s case fixed for trial for July 6

 

The Colombo High Court fixed the corruption case filed against former Minister and Kalutara District Parliamentarian RohithaAbeygunawardena, for July 6.

He is alleged to have acquired assets estimated at Rs.41.1 million unlawfully.

When the case came up before High Court Judge A.A.R. Heiyanthuduwa, the court was informed through the defense counsel that Rohitha Abeygunawardena was not appearing in court since he is suffering from an illness.
