Former Sri Lankan Cricketer Nishantha Ranatunga filed a petition at the Court of Appeal seeking an order to prevent Thilanga Sumatipala from contesting for the post of President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
Apart from Thilanga sumatipala, Jayantha Dharmadasa, Nishantha Ranatunga and Mohan De Silva are the other contestants.
