Sri Lanka assumes chairmanship of COSCAP-South Asia

<p><img src="" alt="Featured Image"></p><p><!-- wp:html --><p>The Director General of Civil Aviation &amp; Chief Executive Officer Air Vice Marshall Sagara Kotakadeniya (Rtd.) assumed the Chairmanship of <strong> Cooperative Development of Operational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness Program – South Asia</strong> (COSCAP – SA) at its 31st steering committee meeting being held in Paro, Bhutan from 06th to 09th May 2024</p>
<p>COSCAP – SA was established  in 1997 and has taken many steps to secure the safety of the civil aviation of the South Asian region.</p>
<p>In addition to members of COSCAP,  representatives from Airbus, Boeing, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Authorities of Britain (CAA-UK) and France (DGCA-France) attended the meeting.</p>
