Growth rate of Sri Lanka’s economy will be increased up to 3% by 2025 – President

<p><img src="" alt="Featured Image"></p><p><!-- wp:html --><p>President Ranil Wickremesinghe in his address at the <strong>International Nurses Day</strong> celebration held at the Temple Trees, today (12) stated that the growth rate of Sri Lanka's economy will be increased up to 3% by the year 2025.</p>
<p>International Nurses Day is observed annually on 12th May to honor the birth of the Founder of Modern Nursing, Lady Florence Nightingale and this year's theme, <em><strong>'Our Nurses – Our Future, The Economic Power of Nursing',</strong></em> underscores the pivotal role nurses play in shaping the nations future.</p>
<p>The President also unveiled a commemorative plaque through digital technology to inaugurate the <strong>Sri Lanka Nursing University</strong> while Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena launched the official website of the <strong>State Service Nurses Association.</strong></p>
