DG Civil Aviation appointed new Chairman COSCAP

<p><img src="" alt="Featured Image"></p><p><!-- wp:html --><p>Director General of Civil Aviation Air vice Marshal (retd.) Sagara Kotakadeniya was recently appointed as the new chairman of the COSCAP – South Asia (Cooperative Development of Operational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness Program – South Asia) during its 31st Steering Committee Meeting held in Paro, Bhutan, the Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement yesterday.</p>
<p>Kotakadeniya is expected to hold office for a period of two consecutive years and presides over the SC meetings which are held every year.</p>
<p>Khaqan Murtaza, DGCA of Pakistan led the COSCAP-SA as Chairperson for the last two years.</p>
<p>This organization was established back in 1997 and has taken many steps to secure civil aviation safety in the South Asian region.</p>
<p>Apart from the members of the organization, there were representatives from Airbus, Boeing, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Authorities of Britain (CAA-UK) and France (DGCA-France) attended the meeting.</p><!-- /wp:html --></p><p>[Category: <a href="https://feed.lankaimage.com/category/uncategorized/" rel="category tag">Uncategorized</a>]</p><p><strong>Tags:</strong> </p>
