Army Engineers Association’s AGM

The 76th Annual General meeting of the Sri Lanka Army Engineers’ Association (SLAEA) will be held on the 23rd of March 2024 at the Sappers’ Leisure Bay Complex at Mattegoda. The SLAEA was formed in 1946 to foster camaraderie among veterans of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers provides the Land Forces with mobility and counter mobility upfront in battle in all forms of warfare.

Veterans of the Corps specialize in combat bridging, battlefield fortifications & demolitions, mining & demining, watermanship, bomb disposal, humanitarian disaster relief, and search & rescue during combat and in peacetime including under nuclear, chemical and biological threat. SLAEA has a membership of nearly 2000 veterans. All members of the SLAEA are cordially invited to the AGM.
