The Sri Lankan Central Bank has said that the Sri Lankan Rupee was largely stable against the US dollar yesterday (27). In the aftermath of the IMF loan approval, the Sri Lankan rupee had appreciated and stabilized around the current exchange rate.
Accordingly, the buying price of 1 USD is Rs.314.82 and the selling price is Rs.332.58. The above rates are based on the average currency quoted for Colombo for Telegraph transfers by Commercial banks.
