Southern Railway chief ticket inspector collect Rs 1.03 crore from passenger

New Delhi: Chief ticket inspector of Southern Railway has recently collected fines worth Rs 1.03 crore from non-ticketer and irregular passengers. The Minister of Railway took Twitter and preased her for the achievement.

The Ministry of Railways announced the news on Twitter and praised Rosaline Arokia Mary, a chief ticket inspector, for her dedication to her job.

Minister’s shared the post with the caption, “Showing resolute commitment to her duties, Smt. Rosaline Arokia Mary, CTI (Chief Ticket Inspector) of @GMSRailway, becomes the first woman on the ticket-checking staff of Indian Railways to collect fines of Rs. 1.03 crore from irregular/non-ticketed travellers.”

She was the first woman on the ticket-checking staff in Railway to collect such a big amount.
