Sitaphal Basundi: Make this amazing dessert recipe on Holi

Sitaphal Basundi: Custard Apple Basundi (Sitaphal Basundi) is a delectable variation on traditional Basundi (an Indian dessert made by reducing milk). Once the ordinary Basundi has cooled, ripe custard apple pulp is added to it.

This dessert is appropriate for festivals like Holi and special occasions. It is also appropriate for vrat (Hindu fasting) days such as Navratri, Shivratri, and Janamashtami.

Let’s look at its ingredients and learn the recipe.

Sitaphal Basundi: Ingredients

1 Litre Milk
Sitafal Pulp
Dry fruits to Garnish

1. Pour 1 litre of milk into a saucepan. Boil and reduce on low heat until it becomes thick.

2. Let it cool for a while.

3. Serve with seed sitafal or custard apple. Scoop off the pulp from the fresh sitafal and mix it thoroughly with the cold milk.

4. Pour it into a glass and garnish with dryfruits to complete your Sitafal Basundi.
